Warranty

Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains how product-related issues are reviewed after delivery and what types of remedies may be available when an item arrives damaged, appears materially defective upon first reasonable inspection, or fails to match the order placed through this site.

Products sold through this site are consumer beauty products intended for personal use. They are not durable goods with a long-term mechanical service life, so warranty handling in this category is narrower than it would be for electronics, appliances, or hard goods. The policy focuses on condition at delivery, packaging integrity, and product usability at the time the customer first receives and inspects the item.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to eligible product issues that can be reasonably linked to manufacturing faults, filling defects, packaging failure, shipment-related damage, or verified fulfillment error at or near the time of delivery.

It does not create an open-ended product guarantee for normal wear, customer preference, incompatibility with a particular routine, expected formula variation, or product changes caused by storage conditions, handling, or use after delivery.

What May Be Covered

Coverage may be available where a product arrives with clear physical damage, leakage, shattered pressed formula, broken closure, non-functioning pump or dispenser, missing core components, incorrect item fulfillment, or a visible defect that makes normal first use unreasonable.

A product may also be reviewed under this policy if, upon first ordinary inspection, it appears to have an abnormal texture, unexpected separation inconsistent with the product type, compromised seal condition, or another issue suggesting that the product did not arrive in suitable saleable condition.

What Is Not Covered

This policy does not cover dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference, including dislike of shade tone, finish, coverage level, texture feel, fragrance preference, or wear expectations that differ from individual results.

It also does not cover issues arising from misuse, accidental damage after delivery, improper storage, exposure to heat or moisture, failure to follow product directions, contamination from unclean tools or hands, ordinary cosmetic wear from use, or product deterioration caused by leaving the item open or unsealed.

Damage caused by dropping, crushing, puncturing, repackaging, modification, tampering, or combining the product with other substances is outside the scope of this policy.

Timeframe for Reporting

Warranty-related concerns should be reported promptly after delivery and before substantial use whenever possible. Early reporting makes it easier to verify whether the issue is connected to delivery condition, packaging failure, or an identifiable defect present at the time the product was received.

Claims submitted after extended delay, after heavy use, or after the product has been materially altered may be limited or denied if the original condition can no longer be reasonably assessed.

How to Submit a Claim

To request review under this policy, contact support@lauragelrea.us.com with your order number, the item involved, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs where relevant.

Photos may be requested showing the outer shipping box, shipping label, protective packing materials, product packaging, lot or batch markings where visible, and the affected item itself. For dispenser or applicator issues, additional images or a short explanation of first-use behavior may also be requested.

Review and Verification

Each claim is reviewed individually. The review may take into account order date, delivery confirmation, product category, reported condition, degree of use, photo evidence, prior correspondence, and whether the issue is consistent with shipping damage, a packaging fault, or a product defect that should reasonably have been noticed on first inspection.

In some cases, additional details may be requested before a decision is made. Where the available information is incomplete, inconsistent, or insufficient to verify the claim, coverage may be limited.

Available Remedies

If a claim is approved, the remedy may take the form of a replacement item, refund, partial refund, or store credit, depending on inventory availability, the nature of the issue, and the condition reported.

Not every approved claim results in the same outcome. A replacement may be suitable where the issue is isolated and stock is available. A refund may be more appropriate where the item cannot be replaced reasonably or where the order issue affects the original purchase more broadly.

Replacement Limitations

Replacement requests are subject to stock availability, destination eligibility, and operational practicality. If the same item is no longer available, an alternative remedy may be offered instead.

A replacement does not restart or extend this policy indefinitely. It addresses the approved issue tied to the original order and does not create a continuing cycle of replacement for the same product type based solely on preference or routine-use concerns.

Return of Affected Items

In some situations, the affected item may need to be returned before a replacement or refund is finalized. In other cases, photographic verification may be sufficient. Customers should not send products back unless return instructions have been provided.

If return is required, the item should be packed carefully to avoid additional transit damage that could interfere with review.

Shipping Damage

Damage caused during shipment may fall within this policy if reported promptly and supported by adequate evidence. That includes cracked compacts, broken closures, leakage, crushed cartons, and other visible transit-related issues affecting the product at delivery.

Because carrier handling conditions can vary, packaging evidence is often important in these reviews. Retaining the box, label, and internal packing materials until the issue is reviewed can help.

International Orders

International orders may be reviewed under this policy, but shipping distance, customs handling, local climate exposure, and transit duration can complicate verification. Remedy options may therefore vary by destination.

Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, and similar destination-country fees are generally not refundable through this policy unless required by law or tied directly to a verified fulfillment error.

Limitations of This Policy

This policy is provided in addition to any non-waivable rights that may apply under consumer protection law. Where local law grants rights that cannot be excluded or limited, those rights remain unaffected.

Except for such non-excludable rights, this policy is the applicable statement of warranty handling for products purchased through this site and replaces any expectation of broader product guarantees not expressly stated here.

Abuse and Repeated Claims

This site reserves the right to decline claims where the pattern of activity suggests abuse, substitution, intentional damage, inconsistent reporting, or repeated requests that cannot be reasonably supported by the available evidence.

This does not limit legitimate consumer rights, but it does allow claim handling to reflect the facts presented in each case.
